Incorporating Ready Gen Curriculum

I am having a heck of a time embracing our district adopted Ready Gen at 3rd grade. It seems to go against every grain of my brain and what students love about reading. I would love to know if others are teaching this curriculum and incorporating CAFE and Daily 5.
