My students LOVE working with partners. How do I limit it to only “read to someone” ? They will also want to write and practice word work with someone too. I would like to let them. Should I encourage it or not?

I think if the kids are successful, working with partners in writing can be powerful, as well as doing word work activities. As long as they are being successful, then why not? Just make sure you keep time for them to do Writing on their own sometimes, as well as Read to Self.
OK great! So, I always have Read to Self and Read to Someone as choices everyday. For writing and word work they can choose to work with a partner or by themselves. Any other ideas are welcome; thanks for the support!
