Math Daily 3 is a framework for structuring math time so students develop deep conceptual understanding and mathematical proficiency. Students select from three choices, working independently toward personalized goals, while the teacher meets individual needs through whole-group and small-group instruction.
The structure and teaching approach are similar to The Daily 5. It was developed and refined in classrooms to help students get the instruction needed to meet and build on their individual math levels. Children work on three task types:
